    I wish someone would write a guide answering two question: where the docker solution is absolutely the perfect fit and where docker is complete overkill. Right now, as a bystander, it’s hard to tell if we’re looking at a brilliant solution for everybody’s woes or if the ecosystem is simply too frothy with enthusiasm for the tool, with very little actual pragmatic upside to it.

      Given how half-baked and insecure Docker is, I think many would argue it’s “never” for both. However, Docker seems to be synonymous with containers/jails these days, sadly.
