    I marked this as off-topic as it does not, AFAIK, correspond to the desired content on Lobsters. It is more applicable to Hacker News.

      I would personally not mind seeing some of these articles once in a while so long as they don’t take up a large portion of the front page.

        Thanks. I’d rather not see lobste.rs be turned into hacker news. The problem is not that hacker news doesn’t get good links submitted. It’s that those links are drowned by crap like this.
