I’ve been planning to do this upcoming Advent of Code in Lil. I think that it is a really cool little language. As a data analyst, a language with built in support for array programming, tables/querying, and visualization/UI is very interesting. Think numpy, pandas, matplotlib, etc. I wouldn’t use it for actual work things, but it hits closer to what I’m looking for in a language.
I love the aesthetic of Decker, I love the “make it easy to make things” attitude inherited from Hypercard, I think Lil is interesting and a really good opportunity for me to learn more about vector-oriented languages.
I just don’t seem to have any interesting problems to solve right now, for which Decker/Lil would be appropriate solutions or even mildly inappropriate.

I really like Lil and the Decker project of which it’s a part. It’s beautiful.
There is also http://runtimeterror.com/tech/lil/ (Tcl-like language).

I’m keeping an eye out, though.
