I’m sure I remember seeing a command line tool about 6 months or a year ago that allows you to query online help services from the command line. It was maybe called ‘howdoi’ or ‘howto’ or something, and you put a natural language request as the command line, and it did a quick intelligent search for relevant posts, and returned the text from the first/most popular answer.
e.g. howdoi add a new vhost to apache

Also, re: this type of question. I’m not at all opposed to it, but if it becomes common, I’d like to separate its tag from the “What are you working on this week?” type questions. I’m not sure what the best tags for this are, but I can definitely see a case for filtering questions like this and not those type of questions.
