I can’t say enough good things about the quality on display in this talk. This is the same powerful attention to detail that came up in hardware recently. I only wish I could nail down what this commitment to quality is and what drives it just to be able to talk about it, because I almost never see it. Turning it over in my head, I realize that if it had a name, that name would immediately be useless due to abuse and misapplication. Perhaps the best thing is Christopher Alexander’s “quality without a name” evident in buildings that are supremely adapted to their environment and use.
