I have applications I wrote 10 years ago that run just as well today as they did in 2015. No major language changes or massive API breakage to address. They just work.

and it’s worth noting the implementations do greatly evolve, improve, ship new features (and have a couple minor breaking changes once in a while, often not impacting).
