    I wish I could use this for personal projects, but “No hinting” pretty much means useless for low pixel density screens.

        I would expect it does. It claims to (exclusively!) support UTF-8.

          How is support for an encoding format indicative for language support beyond English?

          Considering that it doesn’t even support combining characters, that rules out pretty much all languages on this planet. (I’d assume it lacks RTL support as well.)
