Any words on build times?
An interesting side-effect of it not having any run-time dependencies is that running it directly with npx rome is quite fast (~1s to fetch the package). I’ll also be curious as well to see how controlling the entire toolchain will impact the build/bundle times; in the meantime, esbuild, written in Go, seems to be several notches above JS bundling tools in terms of speed.
Thanks for the detailed answer ;). It was mainly a play at “rome wasn’t built in a day”.
