No you didn’t. Minutes in front of an IDE is no better a productivity metric than lines of code. If you made yourself less responsive on Slack you quite possibly made your organisation less productive even if you improved your individual productivity, narrowly defined.
That’s a bit ironic. According to their website, RescueTime is an app to “Find your ideal work‑life balance.” Then the blog author claims to have worked 280 hours one month, and 286 the next. Maybe it’s just me, but it doesn’t seem the app is working.
