This is extremely 【ａｅｓｔｈｅｔｉｃ】, but the round display presents a big practical problem. The square aspect ratio of the underlying display is weird but fine, but having the corners permanently cut off is just not good.
(That said, I want to build something similar with a 3x4 aspect ratio portrait display and “portable typewriter” aesthetics.)

I can’t help but notice there are no images of the thing doing anything that would keep it out of the landfill in a few months.
