I was on 36 for a while, the only problem I encountered was the inability to share desktops on slack while using wayland. Individual windows work, though. New gnome’s print screen software is great.
Does that problem only occur in Slack or in other programs as well? I’m still on 35, but I plan to upgrade soon, now that it’s officially released.
I haven’t tried zoom, google meet or anydesk on this. What I know is: slack stopped officially supporting fedora after March 1. Announcement: https://slack.com/help/articles/115002037526-System-requirements-for-using-Slack
Doesn’t Ubuntu also use Wayland now? Or not yet?
Yes, but only on GNOME, and not by default if you’re using nVidia drivers.
AIUI. I don’t use GNOME and don’t have any modern nVidia (or AMD) kit.
