I hadn’t seen it before, but I was delighted to have that community reach out via the issue tracker. I think offpunk is definitely going for a more complete, integrated solution (an “application” vs a “script” as I tried to put it in my write-up), but is definitely relevant and I’ll need to take a closer look.
This workflow seems similar to Pocket or the Safari Reading List, where you click a “save” button while at a webpage and then go through your queue of saved articles later, rather than reading it at once.
Yes that’s definitely a point of comparison, though my focus is more on acquiring the list of things you want to read and I’ve tried to take a conscious choice to discourage accumulating an ever-growing list (I do have that evergrowing list, but I add to that manually :)).
