I’m actually pretty excited about this. Ereaders are hardly as popular as mp3 players were, but I’ve still been looking forward to FLOSS firmwares starting to pop up for them.

Kobos are relatively inexpensive and relatively open, so I’m not surprised they’re the place this starts, but I hope some day that Nooks and Kindles and other readers can run okreader or something like it.

Neat. I’ve been using PageTurner on my phone and also a rooted Nook Simple Touch (which is an Android 2.1 tablet with an e-ink screen), but this looks like it has a lot more potential polish (and generally nicer hardware features & software stack!)
