Hi! It’s something that I actively use on my network to bridge channels and I’ve found linking-servers-to-bridge-networks-and-even-other-protocols to be a really interesting idea to begin with. (Realistically we’re trying to write such functionality into a custom IRCd but it’s been going relatively slowly.) At least, this was pretty big in the IRC world, though yeah at this moment I’m not the best at knowing the general interest of other Rustaceans
