I think tarsnap displaying the price in p$/(byte×month), or now a$/(byte×day) is a mistake. Obviously the pricing should be in $/(byte×s). Using unit-prefixes or non SI-units like days or months is very bad form.
So the price should be displayed as 96.4506134259×10⁻¹⁸ $/(byte*s)
