Adding someone’s public key to your buddies list lets you send them messages. You can find other public keys on markets like keybase.io and darknet
Markets? “darknet”? Whatever happened to keyservers? I think this README needs some work: I’m unlikely to want to use crypto that sounds like it was written by someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking about.
The name felony removes (or at least greatly raised the bar for) plausible deniability that you weren’t using PGP for “bad” things.
Based on that reason alone, I want nothing to do with it. Unfortunate, since PGP ease of use is a hot topic.
At least they didn’t call it “kiddieporn” or “terrorism”.
Gah. I thought the abbreviation for the GNU Image Manipulation Program was a stupid, self-sabotaging joke, but they have finally been outdone.
