It’s good to see RaspberryPi’s still making new things, although this looks a lot like the chip.
Unlike C.H.I.P., the Pi Zero has a mature architecture. The C.H.I.P. is horrible to work with.
I haven’t had any horrible trouble so far with neither chip nor rpi. I guess our experiences are different. :)

It doesn’t say so explicitly in the post, but I think it’s compatible with cases made for the existing non-wifi Pi Zero. Some of the distributors are selling them in starter bundles with Pi Zero cases, anyway, which would seem to imply so.
I would the this is the same PCB with 2 new chips on it.
I don’t even case my pi anymore, what am I even protecting it from?
