Does the devops tag already cover this? I don’t have a good grasp on what exactly DevOps is, but I have a vague feeling that observability is part of it. Wikipedia’s summaries of DevOps and observability don’t directly contradict that idea.
Six of the ten Lobsters stories for which the observability tag was proposed already have the devops tag.
Devops is so broad a thing that it covers this and a hundred other things.
When asking for a new tag it’s good practice to list stories that would have fallen under that tag and why they’re not really suitable for other tags.

I support this tag. I’d love to be able to search for these sorts of stories specifically. (I am an SRE and have particular interest in them.) Simultaneously, I know it’s not a topic that everyone is interested in, so being able to filter them away accurately is beneficial.
