This is the box I thought about when Raptor Workstation was announced. I thought, “That would be great but super pricey. People probably won’t be able to buy it. Whereas, AmigaOne shows a PPC workstation can be done with decent specs at a price that might go down with work.” Reason for last point is that it uses stuff from an embedded vendor. Those are more competitive with a lot of different chips to consider. Chinese are always cloning such things on the cheap with some having good quality.
So, not just for Amiga but PPC desktops in general, this was an interesting system.
