    What’s worse when hiring, hiring a bad fit or letting a good fit get away?

      Hiring has never been simply about raw talent, which most of these stories seem to believe. Hiring is really about satisfying the interviewer’s ego, and selling yourself, during the courting period.

      And, I’ve made bad hiring recommendations before, where I was impressed by raw talent, which ended horribly due to the person’s entitlement, and ego.

      So, in summary, hiring is hard, and a good company is going to pass up lots of great people, for lots of different reasons, and you shouldn’t get too down on yourself. Just try somewhere else.

        I hate to sound rude but I’ve never heard of any of these people. I was kind of expecting more historically relevant names I guess.
