Sometimes it seems like I must use software in strange ways. I seem to uncover bugs that other people must have run into before. I wonder why I find so many obscure bugs now.
I think it’s more that most people with your attitude to foundational libraries wouldn’t use these tools. Python’s subprocess functionality is widely known to be shaky, and go is… go.
I do still hit these kind of bugs on the JVM, mind, but only in the region of one or two a year.
