Does anyone know what the power situation is for LS3? According to the wiki page it’s mission requirement is to do the work of 9 men and be usable for 72 hour missions. That sounds like some serious battery weight to me but I don’t know what the state of the technology is. Pretty awesome though.
From the vid it sounded like it had an internal combustion engine on board. Given battery technology that’s probably a better way to go, except for noise. It was pretty noisy in the vid.
Every time my wife sees a video of this thing, she says “creepy”. Nice to see it’s come far enough from the early days that it’s actually in the field.
