:( It was only last week that I saw my first Firefox OS device (a Panasonic TV on sale at a local supermarket).
I was never convinced that Firefox OS was a wise move - it seemed like something that was too risky and too far from Mozilla’s core competency. What do I know, though - I was skeptical that the iPhone would take off!

EDIT: Folks, it’s four short paragraphs, and it’s news spam. We don’t need a submission every time somebody in the tech industry cancels a project. If there had been a more substantial submission, I wouldn’t be so grumpy. As it is, I’d prefer not to see Buzzfeed- and TechCrunch-style newsbites here, even if it’s from Ars.
