This is almost certainly a good thing. Programming is not stable enough, reliable enough, or cheap enough for the traditional wisdom to be considered wise, however traditional it becomes.
I found it interesting that the author talked about how macro-editability, aka understanding the system graph, was considered rather important in the APL culture, and how their expression of that is vastly different from most other languages.
Readability is the amount of money you’re willing to bet that a change you make to the code will work the first time, without breaking anything, without testing it mechanically first.

Haven’t tried this one, but I usually delete the Instagram etc. overlays in developer mode.
Try clicking then dismissing the settings thing (cog icon), I had the same issue.
I found it helpful to open it in Incognito, then export it as a PDF.
