Seriously though, interesting article. I’m curious what problems they ran into scaling Postgres out–my impression was write scaling was the thing that finally got them, but I’m not sure.
Also, how useful are all those dashboards and things beyond just being eye candy? Does anybody have experience with using those instead of more boring (read: textual) monitoring tools?
