    I think there are very few comments here because this article is so well done, there’s nothing to discuss! I for one appreciate the attention to detail and pragmatic way of starting with int3 and a debugger rather than Hello World. I’m looking forward to the next article.

      If you are looking into learning assembly, especially on Unix I recommend looking at int80h. And while it uses FreeBSD as a base, that won’t really matter in the end.

        Oh wow, this was much nicer and more substantial than I imagined reading the title. Starting out with the debugger front and center is a great idea.
