    Wings3D has a waaaay easier to use interface if you are starting out, and pretty amazing UV mapping tools. That said, it does require a particular workflow.

      Heh - I was a pretty big Blender user a few years ago when I was interested in 3D art. It spoiled me to anything that wasn’t keybinding intensive (which led to me learning Vim).

      Blender has one of the most efficient interfaces I’ve used, and actually utilizes both the keyboard and the mouse really well. I wish there were a video editor like it (and I’m not thinking Blender’s internal video editor since it’s kinda difficult to make screencasts with it - but if there were something like Blender + Camtasia that would be awesome)
