My profile says I have written 102 comments. But /threads/ap only shows me 48 of them (ordered by age of the root comment in the thread apparently and somewhat anti-helpfully – rather than age of my own comment).

Did I miss any more comprehensive view? Is there some way to get the full set of my own comments, at least? (I’d actually prefer them out of context, just ordered chronologically, but as long as I can in some way scrape them along with timestamps out of whatever view I get, I’d be happy.)

Very secondarily, I’d also like to able to look at the full set of comments by other users. Is there a social reason that the threads page is limited like it is? (Is there any non-expedient reason for it?)

I think this is due to the lack of pagination

Yeah. I don’t think this was an intentional piece of design, just an oversight.

@ap, no, there isn’t a way to retrieve all of your, or anyone else’s comments. If it’s a priority I could dump them from the database for you, but otherwise it’ll happen when someone picks up #394.

No worries, I am not in a hurry and don’t require special treatment. So long as I can expect to be able to get my comments out someday, I’m fine just waiting for it to happen. Since it’s not purposefully the way it is, and in fact the stated intent is to provide what I want, then if it bugs me that much, I always have the option of putting in the effort myself. That’s good enough for me. Thank you.

Thanks for your understanding and patience.
