Having worked on a backend port of GCC for the past 3 years, I will say that a lot of the points made here still apply.
I just hit something with rtx_cost in GCC 2.5.8 on arm32. Yes I know it’s far far beyond it’s best sale date but I wanted to match era correct EMX (GCC on OS/2). Three letter acronyms are the worst!
I don’t know where to go, but looking at the source it’s such an unwieldy monster as an outsider. It’s easier to just do a native i386 build and just run that under emulation.
