“Good” answers are really frustrating to stumble upon three years later when I have the exact same question and the best answer is “do this other thing instead”. I’m asking because that other thing doesn’t work!!!
My philosophy is to answer the question asked. Maybe if you want to be nice, suggest an alternative. But giving “stupid” answers to “stupid” questions will teach people to ask better questions. And sometimes the question isn’t stupid.
