Used this to write a lunchtime tech talk at work about different tools/things I do to inspect ruby code going awry. Pretty nice to just write a markdown and have it generate the presentation for me. Supports hot-reloading, code highlighting, decent amount of presentation niceness without having too much to remember.
org-mode has supported making presentations for awhile, and it’s pretty nice because org-mode supports more constructs (like tables) than markdown. Check it out if markdown is ever insufficient.
