I wonder if I could use this for things like a iMessage to MMS gateway? I’ve been looking for something like this since I am partial Apple but also a lot Linux.
There’s the mautrix project which provides an iMessage <-> Matrix bridge, and apparently also SMS (on an Android phone) <-> Matrix:
