I’m glad Daniel lists supporting hyper as a priority. By no means am I a RIIR zealot—many projects have plenty of legitimate reasons to stick with C, and I’m against full rewrites in general. But curl’s use of modular backends really presents an excellent opportunity to sprinkle in some Rust incrementally.

Tangentially related: this 1+ year old blog post about Rust HTTP clients raises a lot of legitimate concerns about hyper. But the article also says itself that it’s old and potentially outdated. Does anyone with more familiarity with hyper know how well things have stabilized?
