      I still don’t really understand what the difference between GTK 2 and 3 way (beyond the practical realization that most themes broke, and a theoretical point regarding wayland). So what’s the motivation for the next version, and will it also mean a new desktop environment (GNOME 4) will be released?

        I wonder how the API looks like in Rust – all the examples presented used some unsafe legacy language.
