    This is super useful for me in case I want to get back to my space craft simulation program. Specifically, the problem of how to store the simulation data so it was accurate and looked good when displayed.

      Interesting. Especially the triangle area heuristic.

      That being said, it seems like there should be a more direct way to sample a parametric curve in screen space, by applying the appropriate projective space transformation. I might have to give this some thought.
