Ironically, for many people some of the worst offenders (netflix etc.) are not even accessible, because they are not just DRMed, but also country-locked.
It’s a bit sad that there seem to be more and more games that only exist on Steam, but not for example on GOG.
And as anyone knows it really doesn’t work. I’ve yet to see a game, movie, piece of music not made public in a way breaking its license.
It really fails on many levels. Annoying users, not “protecting IP”, breaking rules the W3C made for themselves, etc. The only things really profiting from it are people making money with DRM and I am sure that they could be doing way more useful work.
