These and the pkg-src email reports seem spammy to me. If it’s something that’s released every quarter/month/week, then presumably the people who are interested would subscribe.
I’m interested, but I’m not sure there’s any way to subscribe to just quarterly updates. Is once a quarter that bad? If somebody wrote a blog post “new things in FreeBSD” would that be spammy?

These go to the FreeBSD announce list, which pretty much just gets releases, security errata (arguably too plentiful), and these.
I hadn’t heard of this very interesting CloudABI project before.
