    Apple developer documentation is just bad in general, and has been for years. I’ve heard rants on the topic for years and just skimming it, I’d agree. You might get a nice introductory page on the API, but most of the definitions covered under it have nothing but the definition. Even Microsoft at its laziest will cover to write a paragraph about the API.

      I agree it’s terrible. Do we know why?

      Seems like with all that money, surely they can spend some towards fixing it?

      Anecdotally, the few times my husband visited Apple (UK), he reported that their internal systems for stuff like logging visitors in were a train wreck. Strangely laid out and using outdated UI.

      It should also stop trying to avoid calling algebraic types and pattern matching what they are. ;)
