Being a bit of a time nerd, I have to chuckle wryly when the next sentence says,

Then in the same paragraph it goes on to mention GPS, the most well-known example of a system that has to deal with both special and general relativity! I bet JPL has some more examples.
Relativity: not just for physics!
Surprisingly, the article says relativity is a distraction, but that the problem is just that things break all the time!
