    This was a refreshing take on the topic imo. It’s nice to see someone who’s very firm in their commitment to FLOSS also just admitting that it’s not a thing normal people would be comfortable doing.

    It seems common that FLOSS enthusiasts are very promotional in their feelings on free software, and at least the louder ones don’t want to admit that not everyone wants to spend 3 hours trying to troubleshoot the Linux box powering their TV before they can actually watch it, or whatever; so it’s honestly great seeing some pro-FLOSS people who do have the introspection to admit “I’m the weird one for wanting to put up with this.”
