I remember NESticle fondly. I had thought that the only thing my Pentium 100 could emulate at full speed was the Game Boy. Then NESticle was released (crude though it was) and voila, fast and perfect-enough NES emulation. It was heaven.
A little while later they released Genecyst as well which also fared quite well on the same Pentium. Good times.
Suggest suffixing this with the year 2017.
