Looks like FIGlet still doesn’t have support for colour output, so I’ll keep using TOIlet for my MOTDs :-)

I can’t help but notice the kerning is off on that (the C and the O are too close together compared to the rest of the letters). ;-)
Years back, someone on IRC told me what kerning is, and now I can’t NOT think about it. Ack! :-)
Kerning - once you see it you can’t unsee it (even if sometimes you wish you could).

Cowsay is fun and comes with some even more fun alternatives to cows, but my god I hate that Ansible will use it by default if it’s installed.
Emacs artist-mode also uses figlet for drawing the text as well.
Ahh FIGlet, i still use to for displaying the name of the box I’m sshing into via the ssh_banner.
figlet and cursive! I have not thought of these programs for over 20 years.
