      There’s a lot of dissatisfaction with the name technical debt. I like the argument made in “Bad code isn’t Technical Debt, it’s an unhedged Call Option” link,lobsters.

      IMHO, the term “Technical Debt” has an immediacy and urgency that “Shovelling forward” doesn’t have.
