“From Tab to Space” is an excellent motto.

I think the patches are very cute–and maybe this is just an issue with my aesthetic–but they are kind of cheerful versions of the patches I’d actually expect:

Sysadmin Patch – Somebody comforting (think infant carrying) a sick computer.

Devops Patch – Robot arm replacing a broken lightbulb in field of lightbulbs. Comedy option, just the AWS logo.

Security Patch – A computer wearing a tinfoil hat.

Build Engineer Patch – A picture of a meat grinder being fed with lots of source code and maybe a hand or two, showing nice happy sausages emerging.

Networking Engineer Patch – Leaky pipes connecting lots of little computers, leaking packets.

Engineering Lead Patch – A picture of a herd of cats and a shepherd’s crook.

Hardware Engineer Patch – IC releasing holy smoke, on top of a chipped gear.

UI/UX Engineer Patch – A text input with a misaligned label sticking out of the box.

Situation Update:
