I think the author is the submitter here: I can’t see any images on mobile Safari. Maybe a WebGL thing? Perhaps you could substitute some animated gifs for whatever should be in the black boxes I see in your post?
That’s neat stuff. One of those shapes on top remind me of attackers in Geometry Wars. Pictures here. I wonder if they used superformulas or it’s just a coincidence. I didn’t find anything in quick Google. However, I did find this article about No Man’s Sky using and/or stealing the superformula.

I’m not seeing any image output/result on desktop Safari either. Works fine in Chrome.
