Since this article was written the language itself hasn’t changed much but the community around it has. There is a book, Real World Ocaml. OPAM has become the de-facto standard package manager with new packages added all the time. The community does not rival Python’s, Java’s, C++’s or Go’s, but it’s growing and becoming much more user-friendly.
