Our idea was to make a really fast browser, capable of running on limited hardware
…
We use JavaScript and React to create the user interface
So by “limited hardware” did they mean a 2006 macbook pro instead of a 2014 macbook pro?
The website looks like they’re going against Opera for becoming a Chrome clone yet what they’ve done is making another one (Blink, closed source, PPAPI etc)
Can anyone here explain to me why people would want this? What do they offer that makes it worth switching?
I just don’t see the point, I suppose.
Looks to me like it is an HTML5/JS version of Opera, and they are trying to make the UI their selling point. We’ll have to see how it turns out.
