I don’t know when changes were last made, but, yes, layout is done using Flexbox rather than Grid.
I submitted the site because I thought it was a fuller introduction to HTML and CSS than HTML for People, which was on the front page. It would be great if the author updated Interneting is Hard to include Grid, but the author may have moved on.
I would also love to know. The developer made a flurry of posts on Twitter/Facebook in 2017 to advertise the website then disappeared off the Internet. I think I’ll send an email to their contact address from the website to see if they’re still alive and well.
