I had a (free) Windows Phone in 2010. It was awesome, except for the lack of interesting apps. If ios7 i a decent clone, it’ll be pretty sweet.
The weather app is a great example of why it works. Borders and edges just take up space. The real benefit, though, imo, is that everything looked the same. It wasn’t a device running a dozen different apps. It was just a device. Singular.
I find this post a bit odd. The only thing that looks really similar is the “running apps” screen. You could certainly make the argument for copying there. However on the rest of the screens keep in mind that they all must contain essentially the same data and they all have slightly different variations of doing so.
