      This is interesting. I hadn’t thought about programming languages from this point of view before.

      I would like to add to the discussion that programming languages are sometimes designed with specific “language” requirements. For example, Python is designed to make it easy to read programs which are unfamiliar to the reader, and Javascript was designed to be as useable as possible in general, even by novice programmers.
